Don't Give Up On Your Marriage!

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

— 1 Cor. 13:4-7

If you’re looking to walk away from it all, reconsider. For every person that has told you to give up and quit, here’s one person that will stand up for marriage. A happy healthy marriage is attainable. You can have a relationship with your spouse that gets stronger and stronger as the years go by. God wants your covenant to remain forever. Don’t go with the flow and do what everyone does. Don’t walk away from your marriage, fight for it!

He’s given you the power to keep your covenant (promise)! The one thing you must do is make up your mind. Make up your mind that quitting is not an option. Make up your mind that you’re in it to win it. Make a decision TODAY that you will stand up for what’s right! God didn't create marriage to be a curse, He created marriage because it’s a blessing.

The Bible is clear on what it takes to truly love. Once you begin to love your spouse with the love of God, your marriage will never be the same. He’s given us direct, foolproof instruction for a healthy, happy, marriage. If the way you love your husband/wife doesn’t coincide with the Word of God you are bound to fail. However, if you decide today to love the way the Word tell us to, you’ll experience marital bliss.

Remember, with God, ALL things are possible (Matthew 19:26)! The decision lies in your hands. You must make up your mind today to stick with it and see God’s hand move on your behalf. Trust me, you’ll be happy you did!
