Using What Already Exists

My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
— Psalm 89:34 KJV

There are many laws that govern the earth. The universal law of gravity says ‘What goes up, must come down’. If you jump up, you won’t fly out into space. Simple. There are other things that scientist have discovered over the years that have incredibly impacted the way we live. Take for instance electricity. Electric currents have always been available. They're a part of how this planet functions. Why? I have no idea. What I'm trying to get at is the reason people didn't have electricity when Jesus was on the earth was because they hadn't discovered it yet.

Everything was set in motion, all the natural elements were there, the only thing that was missing was someone to discover it and put it to use. For too long we’ve allowed for the blessing of God to be something that’s laid dormant in our lives. There are so many people living in darkness because they’ve not taken the time to read God’s Word and discover heavens electrical current (corny? I don’t care!). Come into the light.

Discover the promises God has for you in the Bible. Apply them to your life. Quit living in darkness and the fear of the unknown. Be in the know with the Word of God! Live with purpose. The only way of doing that is by being a student of God’s Word. If your Christian walk has been ineffective, you have to study the Word. The Bible says God can’t do anything against what He said. Just as there are universal laws, there are Kingdom Laws. He can’t change His mind or His Word. God is legally bound to it. So when we read “Resist the devil and he will flee from you”, that’s a Kingdom Law. But it’s contingent on what you do.

Benjamin Franklin put the laws of the earth to work. If someone doesn’t apply the knowledge to an action, you’ll continue to live in the dark. God promised us that devil can’t stay BUT we must resist him first. Place those Kingdom Laws into motion by putting your faith in action. If you do your part, He's committed to doing His part!
