Do you feel like giving up?

Even youths will become weak and tired,
and young men will fall in exhaustion.
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.
— Isaiah 40:30-31

What do you do when you feel like giving up? Have you been doing all you can with no change? Have you been diligent in seeking God with seemingly little growth? Whatever you do at this stage will very much determine what will happen in your future. The Bible tells us that even youth have a tendency to grow tired and weak.

Galatians 6:9 says "So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up." If you don't quit when the going gets tough or when things seem to be stuck, God will reward you!

The Amplified Bible puts Isaiah 40:31 like this; "But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired." The way to not give up and quit is by placing your expectation and hope in God.

It's easy to lose focus or place the focus on something else other than God when you're tired. Don't do it! Train yourself to dwell on the Word of God. Focus on Him alone. Forget all the things  happening around you and stay in tune to the voice of God. Don't give up or quit!

Placing your hope back on God will rejuvenate your mind and body. Don't try to figure things out in the natural. Simply believe God and His Word. Remember, you're placing your hope on Someone who is 100% perfect! There's no room for error when you trust in God.
