12 Days To Perfect Love - The Start Of A Fearless Life

Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saves them out of their distresses.
He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
— Psalm 107:19-20

Coming to God when you’re in trouble is the BEST thing you could do. Coming to Him ONLY when you’re in trouble is foolish. The Bible says in our trouble, God saves us out of our distress. How? His WORD. The Word of God shouldn't be placed on a bookshelf to catch dust. The Word of God is sent to deliver us from destruction! The Word of God is sent to HEAL us. You need to make up your mind right now to serve Him at all times, not only when it’s convenient or when you're in trouble. It’s time we see God not only as our salvation but the One who rescues us when we’re in trouble and the One who keeps sickness and disease far from our midst (Exodus 23:25).

The Bible says in Psalm 40:2, “He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.” In your darkest hour, there’s someone who can take care of you. The days of feeling like you’re in a deep dark pit are over. Those feelings of despair and hopelessness are gone! The knowledge of who God is and what He wants to do in your life is the first step to overcoming every oppression of the devil. When you come to the understanding of Gods love and passionate devotion toward you, every problem melts away.

It’s this knowledge that will keep you healthy and whole. It’s this commitment that will keep sickness and disease at bay. We see these cycles happened throughout the Bible. There was a generation that knew God, another that knew of Him, and yet another generation that knew NOT God (Judges 2:10). It’s the generation that doesn't know God that ends up being the ones that get brutally attacked by the devil repeatedly. Today you must take a stand against the devil and his schemes. Today is the day you’ll decide to be a faithful follower. Today be known as the generation that knows God. Don’t allow anything to get in the way. God is your source of help but He’s also your shield against every attack of the devil.

Prayer & Confession:

"Father I love you! Thank you for sending your Word. Thank you for already providing me the answers to every problem in my life, even those that haven't happened yet!! Thank you that I don't have to live a life full of defeat and darkness. As I cling to you and your Word, thank you for divinely assisting me. I receive my healing from your Word. I receive my victory from your Word. Thank you for giving me ammunition in the form of your Word. I will choose this day to follow you all the days of my life. I won't allow the things around me to dictate my dedication to you. I will serve you. I'm sold out to you, and only you. I praise you for the wonderful God you are. Thank you for making a way where there was no way. Thank you for rescuing me, Lord! In Jesus' name!"

Do Something:

Get to church! It's of the utmost importance for you to be planted in a church. The Word of God tell us in Jeremiah 17:8, "He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” You are the tree he's talking about. Are you planted? The last time I checked, trees don't move! A tree planted by the river is never in distress when problems come. Their roots are deep. Jumping from church to church or choosing not to go at all will be a source of frustration and stagnation in your life. If you have to move, MOVE! It's really that important.
