Too many people pray without faith. We allow the mundane to take over and religiously pray for the same things over and over. Jesus cursed the fig tree (ONCE) and the next day it withered from its roots. The disciples were amazed and Jesus responded: “Have faith in God”. Simply believe. Come to the knowledge that your words have incredible power!
The only force stronger than God’s Words is YOUR words (Matthew 12:37). If you pray for your healing and stand on scripture yet keep calling yourself sick, you negate the power at work in your prayer. Praying with doubt in your heart is like trying to shoot a gun with no target or bullets. You keep pulling the trigger but NOTHING happens.
Psalm 34:3-4 says “3 O magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt his name together.
I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” There’s your ammo. To magnify is to make something bigger. When you make God bigger than your problems, all of a sudden your situation seems little! It surely isn't bigger than God! That’s why we proclaim Romans 8:31 “If God is for us, who can be against us?” When you exalt God over your situation faith begins to arise! LOAD YOUR GUN.
Now you aim. What do you aim at? Look up scripture that pertain to your condition. Is it healing? Read Psalm 91:10 out loud. Are you looking for direction in life? Shout Proverbs 20:24 for the devil to hear. When you combine the Word of God with your faith an explosion will happen. Too many people pray a general prayer, the more specific you are the better. When God brings about the answer there will be no denying it was your faith in God!
Now your locked and loaded! This time, when you pull the trigger you know there’s going to be damage to the Kingdom of Darkness. Every oppression will be broken. Every hidden thing will be exposed by the Light of God. You’ll enter into prayer already rejoicing and thanking God that you have the answer.
It’s the confidence you have in God and knowing you already have the answer that will make everything shift your way. Don’t undo it with stupid comments or continual prayer for the same thing. Thank God for the answer. Give Him thanks for hearing your prayer the first time. Psalm 5:3 says “In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.”
Now, wait EXPECTANTLY.
